WOODISH

SOLD: Congrats to Sierra!
Born: May 1, 2019
Registered: AQHA/ABRA
Color: Smokey Grullo
Sire: Hollywood Glo Cody (15.1 HH, 1250 lbs)
Dam: Shiloh Rose (14.3 HH, 1100 lbs)

Woodish is for sale. He is a 2 1/2 year old quarter horse gelding. He is currently 16 HH and still growing. He has not even started to really fill out his lanky frame yet. We are not in a hurry to sell him, would like him to find an ideal show home.

Woodish is a double registered AQHA & ABRA. He is likely 86% FQHA, but have not had the calculation confirmed. Woody has a Star & Partial Half Pastern on right rear. Think eighties hair band, his mane is heavily frosted. He checks all the boxes on Dun Factor. He is wearing an 81” blanket this winter and will likely outgrow it before the season is over. He has been on unlimited local horse quality hay & Purina Enrich+ since weaning. He has had trims on a regular basis and has great hooves. He is 5 panel Neg. Woody is the spitting image of his sire, Hollywood Glo Cody. Woody’s dam is Driftwood on her sire’s side & Impressive on her dam’s side. Her foals are all 16+hh.

Woody is an incredible show prospect. He really could go in any direction. Halter, Cutting, Reining, Dressage, Jumper, Barrels all within his reach. Woody has a presence that just grabs your attention. He is a very smart & sweet young boy. He needs an owner with the patience to let him mature. At 2 ½ years old he is a very inexperienced & quite the mama's boy. A professional trainer who appreciates a smart, high-energy youngster is a must. Woody listens but can be a handful when the drama queen comes out to play. He has basic ground manners but needs round pen work before putting him under saddle. He is really a trailer "virgin" as he was last in a trailer at 5 months old. So he will need to be reintroduced to a trailer. He unfortunately does not fit in my small stock trailer anymore. Will start working with him when I find a 3 horse slant to borrow. Definitely NOT a beginner’s horse. This horse has a very bright future, and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do. I have held on to him longer than I planned to, as he is a hard horse to let go.
